Background to PROTEUS Training Ltd

PROTEUS has gained a reputation as a first-class, professional provider of tailor-made ESF and ERDF training. Experience has shown that funders as well as project promoters are often unsure about the record-keeping, reporting and monitoring requirements associated with the EU Structural Funds. Therefore, PROTEUS assists organisations and their staff by providing a range of accredited and non-accredited training courses.

Since 1997 PROTEUS has trained over 500 staff from District Partnerships, Intermediary Funding Bodies, Government Departments and their Executive Agencies in record keeping, monitoring, ESF and ERDF eligibility requirements and other topics associated with EU project management. As the staff within these agencies changed, PROTEUS was repeatedly subcontracted by the Department of Finance & Personnel to deliver additional training sessions

In June 2000, a separate company called PROTEUS Training Ltd was established to focus entirely on the provision of high quality training programmes to the public and community sectors. PROTEUS Training Ltd has become a market leader in the delivery of training to organisations accessing European Union funding. The trainers have a wealth of experience in managing European funded projects and are able to bring this expertise to delivering high-quality training.
